Known for building connections, negotiating effectively, and delivering results, Hoover’s reputation ensures successful outcomes for dental practice transitions.
Michael Weis is a passionate dental professional and entrepreneur who graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, where he was honored with induction into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) dental honor society and proud recipient of multiple outstanding clinical awards. After starting his career as an associate dentist, he took the leap into practice ownership, driven by the desire for flexibility and opportunity to a work-life harmony for his family.
Through his journey of purchasing, transforming, and ultimately selling his own practice, Michael discovered a profound passion for business ownership and mentorship. Now, he is committed to inspire and guide fellow dentists in their own journeys, whether they are transitioning out or into practice ownership. With his firsthand experience, Michael is eager to help guide each dental professional on their next chapter of life!
Dr. Tim Giroux established his own dental practice in Scottsdale, Arizona, upon graduation from Creighton University, School of Dentistry in 1983. Relocating to Northern California upon selling his highly successful practice after 15 years, Dr. Giroux brings a unique perspective and personal experience in dental associateships, practice start-up, sales, and work-back situations to serve and assist you during your exciting transition! Dr. Giroux and his wife, Mona Chang, LLUSD ’84, enjoy golf, snow skiing, water skiing and ice hockey. Their daughter graduated from Loma Linda University, School of Dentistry in 2018, so he especially enjoys guiding young dentists and helping them fulfill their dreams when they purchase their own dental practice.
One of the original Founders of Western Practice Sales, Jon Noble received his M.B.A. from California State University, Chico. He adds not only a wealth of knowledge and professional expertise but also more than 40 years of experience and involvement in over 1,000 transitions! Jon, his wife and 2 sons are avid Giants fans and partake in the perennial recreational activities of fishing and snow skiing. Jon especially enjoys the opportunity to facilitate the smooth and successful transition of dental practices by consulting or brokering.
Ed Cahill received both his accounting and law degrees from the University of San Francisco. His strong background in banking and accounting complements his prior experience as a mediator. Ed’s wide range of knowledge, hands-on experience and outstanding people skills allows him to connect with both the Seller and the Buyer, helping to facilitate a smooth transition environment.
After graduating from Loma Linda University, School of Dentistry in 1984, Dr. Mona Chang practiced alongside her husband, Dr. Tim Giroux, in private practice in Scottsdale, Arizona for 15 years. Teaming up again with her husband at Western Practice Sales, Dr. Chang brings a refreshing perspective as a female Asian dentist to serve and assist sellers and buyers during their transition. She takes pride in marketing and highlighting the special attributes each practice has to offer.
John Cahill, Emeritus, is nationally known as one the country’s premier transition specialists. A member of American Dental Sales, a regular contributor to Dental Economics and a frequent featured speaker for many dental groups over the years, he brings knowledge, experience and integrity to the transition process with more than 50 years of experience in the dental industry.
